Designed by Dorthy Siemens. THe Paisley Long Shawl was inspired by the designs of the beautiful woven paisley shawls of the 19th century. It is an interpretation in lace of a long shawl dating back from about 1920 and features original lace motifs of botehs and harger paisley patterns. Requires 5 oz. of Jaggerspun Zephyr Wool-Silk yarn (1,575 yds)*note the sample took 1,250 yds which is why 5 oz. is recomended for safetly if you make it smaller or leave off the fringe two skeins or 4 ounces will be adequate.
